What do I have to pay to use Spime?
Spime is free to use with no credit card required, offering maximum radii, duration, and participant limits that cover most needs.
You can extend these maximum values or enable Premium Features using Tokens, which are available for purchase within the app.
We also offer a Premium Membership that removes ads, provides higher maximum values for Spimes, and lets you enable Premium features with fewer Tokens.
Do you have any subscription plans?
Yes! We offer a Premium Membership monthly subscription plan, which disables all ads and extends the maximum values for radius, duration and number of people.
Your monthly plan also entitles you to certain number of free tokens each month, which are carried-forward if unused.
You can cancel your plan at any time.
Subscribe to a Premium Membership within the app, "My Profile", then "Membership".
I would like to extend the radius for one of my Spimes. Do I need a subscription?
No! Just like any other Premium Feature, you can use Tokens to extend the maximum values of any Spime you create. Extensions to radius, duration and number of people can be combined to-taste.
You can purchase Tokens at any time inside the app, under "My Profile", "Purchase Tokens".
Can I restrict access to my Spimes?
Yes! You can secure your Spimes against unauthorized access. See details here.
What can I do with my Tokens?
Use Tokens to extend Spime’s capabilities, regardless of your current membership (Free or Premium). See details here.
How much Cloud Storage can my Spimes use?
While we offer unlimited storage for your Spimes, photos, video and chat, we maintain a fair usage policy to ensure a quality experience for all users. If we detect abuse of the system through excessive and unreasonable storage usage, we reserve the right to suspend the offending accounts.
Who developed Spime?
Spime is the brainchild of Al (Alkis) Poullis of Toronto, Canada. Al, with over 35 years of professional experience in IT, Systems Analysis, Software Architecture & Development, and Management, is also Spime's lead developer.
When is Spime expected to launch globally?
Spime is available globally since the Summer of 2024 on both the Apple Store and on Google Play. We continue to make important revisions with new features and refinements. The Business Portal was launched in Q4/2024.
